Eleutherococcus

Eleutherococcus , also called " Siberian ginseng ", is a plant cultivated mainly in China, Korea, Japan and Siberia, where its roots are used in particular by the elderly and convalescents.

Its roots contain eleutherosides , substances which give it its medicinal properties.

Historically, eleuthero is integrated into practices where it is valued for its traditional uses. The European Medicines Agency recognizes its traditional use in states of fatigue and weakness, while the World Health Organization cites its traditional use as a tonic during periods of convalescence.

We use Eleutherococcus in B-Immunity and B-Vitality for its traditional role, where it is incorporated to complement diets focused on general well-being.
