Schisandra Berries

Known for millennia in China under the name "Wu Wei Zi", Schisandra berries have been part of the Chinese pharmacopoeia for a very long time.

The Chinese name for dried berries ( Wu Wei Zi ) means “ fruit of five flavors ”, because they combine all tastes: sour, sweet, salty, spicy and bitter. These berries are found in many Traditional Chinese Medicine preparations.

Originally from Northeast China and Mongolia , they offer protection against various stresses , have a positive effect on liver health via their detoxifying properties.

Schisandra also allows an increase in the natural production of Glutathione by our body.

Schisandra is rich in active compounds: terpenoids, phenolic acids, flavonoids, polysaccharides ... A biochemical richness which gives it most of its health benefits. Among the polyphenols, we especially distinguish the exceptional action of its lignans .

We use schisandra in B-Immunity to improve the resistance, the strength of the immune system.
